White Oak Canyon has an out and back hike close to The Lodges. that provides mountain retreats and lodging near White Oak Canyon. You can go all the way to Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah National Park or turn around anywhere along the way. Multiple waterfalls are present on the trail and a couple of swimming holes are available for summer dipping. In the winter without the leaves, the waterfalls take on a different view and often are frozen solid with ice formations. Pack a lunch, take your time and enjoy the views (refer to Area Activities/Hiking tab for further details). White Oak Canyon lodging after a strenuous hike is a pleasant way to end your day.
